Four of us tried to eat dinner at this place Sunday, 07/04/10. First of all, we waited for two hours for our food. Now one would think after it taking that long to fry 4 hamburgers and make one order of fries and one order of onion rings, the food would have been hot. NOT! Everything was cold. We couldn't even cut our hamburger bun because they were so hard. Because of the wait, we ordered two dinner salads to tide us over. They were small and $6 a piece!!! Everyone else ate around their hamburger buns (they also had a hard time cutting the hamburger patty!), but I sent mine back. I was not going to pay for something that I could not eat. I did not reorder for fear of having to spend the night in this restaurant (slow service). I did ask if the cook staff was new and was told no. Apparently our food sat for a while before being served to us. When my husband paid the bill, he told the cash register person (owner or manager it appeared) that I did not eat my food. However, she refused to take it from our ticket. REFUSED TO DO THIS! In an effort to keep things under control, my husband paid for something I didn't consume. Had he not, we feared they would call the police and all we wanted to do was get the hell out of there. If you are smart, shut this place down by not spending your money here! It is unbelievable! One man said he had an appointment and had waited 2 hours for a glass of tea. Enter at your own risk, but if you send food back and do not reorder, plan on paying or it or having them call the cops. This place is crap.
When my burger arrived, the bun was cold, not room temperature, but COLD. The onions weren't grilled as they were advertised on the menu.

Went with my family tonight, the place was understaffed on the floor and they were overworked, they did a great job, which is the only reason they are getting more than 1 star.
The waitresses offered to have it remade but at that point I was fed up. As I stated before, the wait staff is the only reason they are getting this good a review.
I first ordered a beer, which was one year out of date.
Come in and see us! We are getting great compliments! Business has been great!
Waitress was very nice. She was constantly smiling and helpful. Food was average. Neat decor inside. One group of customers were chain smoking which made the dinner atmosphere unpleasant.

I am the manager here. We have new owners and have been opened since September 2013. We have revamped our menu. We now offer gourmet hot dogs and 1/2 lb burgers. As well as homemade chili, onions rings and fries. Our new hours are:
I ordered the bacon burger and loved it! I don't know what kind of bacon they used, but it was awesome! The waitress was very nice and always refilled our drinks. No more dollar bills on the walls but it still has a cool interior design. I also had a slice of the Grasshopper fudge pie. It was very delicious. I'm glad this place has turned around. Even the new owner made sure everyone left very happy with their experience. Great place, would definitely come back again.
