My wife and I decided to get out of the city for the 3-day weekend and decided to stay here. What a great place! Valerie is an exceptional host and chef. For the price of a decent hotel, you can get this amazing B&B with a lot more amenities. She brought us breakfast on a huge tray, and even accommodated our vegetarian diet! The breakfast both mornings was unique each time and simply incredible - I couldn't finish it all, but we made sure we carried the leftovers with us when we went out! The room we stayed in was the 'West Room', which was very cozy - TV/VCR, private bathroom and shower, and even a dining table set in front of the bay window. The common room was a 'parlor-style' - no TV, but a nice fireplace, piano, couches, chairs, and a cabinet with free popcorn and a microwave. There's even a fridge with free sodas. We spent one evening just reading and relaxing by the fire. They keep a video library of DVDs that were available for free - they gave us a catalog of everything they had - over 500 movies. We're definitely interested in staying there again.

The Azalea Inn is by far the best B&B I have ever stayed in. A person could not go wrong staying here, if fact you will probably be ruined for life, because the bar will be set so high, it would be hard to match. The Azalea Inn is not your sterotypical B&B in the fact that you can have breakfast in the privacy of your own room, as a matter of fact, calling what Ms Valerie serves as "breakfast" is an understatement. What you receive is a epicurean delight, which looks like it came from the pages of a Southern Living magazine. The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable. If you want some serious R&R sit outside in the patio area, and take in the beauty & solitude of the landscaped garden. The innkeepers are very attentive to your needs, and really care about you enjoying your visit. This place is perfect for a couples retreat weekend, or perhaps a ladies weekend, because Jefferson has some great opportunities for shopping, and browsing antique stores. In addition, the proximity of restaurants is a plus, nothing is more than a mile or two away.
This is our third stay here, and it won't be our last. We LOVE this place!!
